Ontario Premier Promoting Economic Recovery Plan

Premier Kathleen Wynne believes her government is on the right path to help create more jobs and growth in northern Ontario.

She says they continue to invest in northern highways and widening the Trans-Canada.

Wynne adds they have tripled the infrastructure fund for rural and northern communities.

Wynne made the comments at a $1,6000 a plate Liberal Heritage Dinner Wednesday night in Toronto.

She stated their economic plan is proving to be the right one, both for Ontario and Canada.

Wynne says the strategy is based on core strengths, people’s talents and skills, competitive taxes, diversified industries and innovation.

She adds their plan is helping to expand access to post-secondary education, improve infrastructure and tackle climate change.
