Ontario Referendum

For the first time in 83-years, Ontario voters will participate in a
referendum during the October 10th election.
Referendum Resource Officer Pat Brett is touring the Region and says
the voting public will be deciding the fate of the province’s electoral
system.
The 2-choices on the referendum ballot will include the current
election process or a mixed member proportional system, which would allow
voters to select a candidate and a party in an election.
