Ontario Schools Will Remain Open

Students and staff will be returning to the classroom following the Easter break.

Education Minister Stephen Lecce has announced schools will remain open in a Thursday morning Tweet.

Lecce stated the Chief Medical Officer of Health has said schools remain safe.

He stresses keeping kids in the class is critical for students’ mental health and learning and they deserve to be in class.

Lecce notes that against the third wave, strong protocols have kept 98.7 per cent of schools open and 74 per cent without any cases.

The April Break is scheduled to start April 12.
