Three Pharmacies In The Region To Offer COVID-19 Vaccines

Three pharmacies in the Northwestern Health Unit will be allowed to give out Astra Zeneca COVID-19 vaccines when they become available.

The provincial government lists Shoppers Drug Mart in Dryden, No Frills Pharmacy in Kenora and the Pharmasave in Fort Frances in the second phase of the vaccine rollout.

The pharmacy vaccine will be available to those 55 years of age and older.

A total of 380 pharmacies across the province have been added.

In Thunder Bay, three pharmacies are on the list as well.

No date has been given when the next phase will begin.
