Debate over who will administer Ontario Works Programs to the District rages on.
A decision was expected Thursday on whether the Kenora District Services Board would accept the Dryden-Kenora joint proposal to run the programs.
However, Chair of the KDSB Ontario Works Sub-Committee Geoff McClain says after lengthy debate they have decided to hold off on a decision.
The Services Board put out a request for proposals as a result of a budget shortfall and the Dryden-Kenora plan was the only one submitted.
However, other municipalities claimed the proposal would eliminate offices in their respective communities.
No word on when the KDSB will meet again.
