Open Air Burning Banned in Sioux Lookout

Burning restrictions are now in place in Sioux Lookout, Hudson and Alcona.
The ban includes brush, grass and campfires as well as the use of incinerators and burning barrels.
Fire Chief Rob Favot says this is the earliest start to fire season in recent memory.
The restrictions are in place until further notice.
Favot says firefighters have already responded to 2-significant brush fires.
