St. John School in Red Lake is opening its doors to the public Monday.
Tammy Bush is the Early Years Lead for the Kenora Catholic District School Board and says the school is hosting tours and classroom visits throughout the day.
Anyone from the public is invited to drop by and meet staff and teachers.
Bush says staff will be on hand to promote their ‘Leader in Me’ program.
Bush notes they infuse leadership skills in all aspects of student life; academics, art and athletics.
She adds by developing leadership in children, it gives them the confidence needed to take on various challenges.
There will be a second open house on Friday.
