Rentech is experiencing some operating issues at its pellet plant in Atikokan.
The company says a failure of a transformer has forced them to use a smaller one.
Officials say that’s impacting operating rates.
Rentech adds they have also had to repair or even replace some conveyors and a hopper.
The company was hoping to be in full production by February, but admits that could be delayed several months depending on the degree of improvements necessary.
