Expect to see a higher Police presence on area highways Saturday.
October 5th has been designated by law enforcement across Canada as “Operation Impact”
Constable Diane Harder, the newly arrived Community Services Officer for the OPP in Dryden, says Police will be targeting aggressive drivers, people not wearing seat belts as well as looking for anyone behind the wheel who is impaired.
Not only motorists are going to be watched. Harder says they will also stop pedestrians &
cyclists who are breaking the rules & have a word with them too.
