‘Operation Pumpkin’ Highlights Halloween In Dryden

Happy Halloween!
Trick and treaters will be making the rounds tonight and the Dryden Police Service wants to make sure everyone stays safe.
‘Operation Pumpkin’ will once again take place with officers, the Amateur Radio Club, Bell Canada and the Dryden Ice Dogs out on the streets.
Inspector Kevin Glenister says the initiative has helped cut down on vandalism.
As well Glenister says parents should make sure their children can be seen by motorists and others.
Glenister recommends kids wear a light, coloured costume with reflective tape so motorists can see you better and notes make-up is better than a mask.
The emergency siren in Dryden will sound at 6 and 8 to signal the start and finish of Halloween.
