OPG Announcement Has No Impact on Atikokan

Ontario Power Generation still has plans to have the Atikokan Coal-Fired Plant converted into a bio-mass operation in 2012.
The Province is working actively to shut down Ontario’s coal stations by 2014 but OPG Bob Osbourne says not much has changed in Atikokan.
OPG has announced that it will close 4 coal-fueled power units near Simcoe and Sarnia by October 2010.
