OPG Apologizes

The deal is sealed.

Ontario Power Generation has formally apologized to the members of the Gull Bay First Nation.

It’s part of a deal that saw OPG pay the community, located 170 kilometres north of Thunder Bay, 12 and a half million dollars.

It was to make up for damages caused when the First Nation was flooded out by past hydro developments.

The apology was delivered Thursday night.
