Serious Incident On Highway 17

Police are confirming that there’s an incident on Highway 17, 20 kms west of Vermillion Bay.
The Highway has been shut down as it is termed a serious incident between a tractor trailer unit and a motor vehicle.
Police, Fire and Ambulance are all on the scene.
The incident happened around 7:20 a.m. and there’s no word yet on when the highway will be re-opened.
OPP are reporting possible detours use Highway 502 east of Dryden to head westbound and if coming eastbound from Kenora use Highway 71.
