OPG Atikokan Plant Starts Up Tomorrow

Ontario Power Generation will push the start button on its recently-converted biomass-fuelled generating station in Atikokan tomorrow.
A grand opening of the plant is scheduled for 12:00.
Ontario’s Energy Minister Bob Chiarelli and Natural Resources Minister Bill Mauro are scheduled to attend.
OPG’s president and Chief Executive Officer Tom Mitchell will also be on hand.
The plant is the largest of its kind in North America.
