Provincial Police are asking the public to keep an eye out for suspicious activity.
OPP have been dealing with a rash of break and enters in rural areas in Dryden and Machin, with five reported since June 17th.
Police ask that you write down and report details like vehicle make-and-model and licence plate numbers.
Sergeant Ed Chwastyk says it’s quite often people see someone turning down a driveway and wave it off.
However, taking notice may often be the single link in solving the crime.
For homeowners, Chwastyk suggests locking up your home and valuables, as well as finding someone to watch over your place when you’re gone.
