Placing books in the hands of aboriginal youth in remote Northern
communities is the goal of the annual book drive.
OPP Constable Beth Chevalier says new and used books for children and
teenagers are being accepted until the end of January.
n021 runs: 17 sec. out…can donate.
OPP Detachments in Ignace, Sioux Lookout and Ear Falls are also taking
part in the campaign.
Chevalier says the drive helps put books in the hands of aboriginal
youth who don’t have access to reading material.
