Provincial Police in northwestern Ontario are out with the stats from a Canada Day long weekend blitz.
There was one death reported over the holiday weekend.
One person was killed when his All-Terrain Vehicle struck a hydro pole in Conmee Township in the Thunder Bay district.
Province-wide, there were 13 deaths: seven on the highways and five in the water.
