If it’s snowing, slow down.
That’s the main message from the OPP after releasing it’s latest traffic statistics.
Since November 1st, provincial police say they have investigated almost 1,300 incidents involving tractor trailor units.
The OPP say in most cases it’s a matter of the operators of the rigs not adjusting their driving to the conditions.
In the past 10 days alone, there have been 220 accidents involving semis in Ontario and police say so far this winter nine accidents have resulted in fatalities.
