The OPP and Crimestoppers are turning to the public for help with the investigation of a fatality in Sioux Lookout.
The body of 29-year-old Deirdre Patayash was discovered last week in a room on May Street.
Police say the Weagamow Lake resident was in some medical distress, but passed away before she could be taken to hospital.
Police initially charged a Cat Lake man with assault in the incident.
The Northwest Crime Unit is continuing to look into the fatality and asking anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers or send a tip anonymously through their website at tipshelp.com.
