Mines Minister Michael Gravelle is again defending his government’s commitment to the proposed Ring of Fire mining development.
The NDP say that Cliffs Natural Resources, once a major player, has been openly mocking the process, and wonders whether the project is dead.
Gravelle says that could not be more wrong.
He adds the government is moving diligently and actively in the Ring of Fire and working on a plan that they are actually implementing.
Gravelle says there’s still significant continued industry interest in the giant mining project.
