Provincial Police in Red Lake are investigating Tuesday’s fire in Balmertown near Detta Road.
The fire was observed at 15.5 hectares and was contained by Red Lake Municipal Fire Fighters and the Ministry of Natural Recourse & Forestry.
The cause of the fire remains unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
