OPP Investigating Sexual Assault In Sioux Lookout

Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout are requesting assistance to help identify the person responsible for a sexual assault.

Police say on July 11th at around 11:15pm, they were dispatched to the trail between Queen Elizabeth District High School and the Sutton Place apartment building.

OPP say when they arrived they found an injured female laying on the ground where she was transported to hospital.

Police say she suffered serious injuries and investigation revealed that the female had also been sexually assaulted.
