OPP Looking For New Recruits

Provincial Police in Northwestern Ontario are looking for new recruits.
Sergeant Darryl Wilson begins a massive recruitment drive in Ear Falls on September 9th and he will make his way across the entire region.
Wilson says anyone with a slight interest in policing is urged to attend a free information session.
He says the public will learn more about the job and what they are looking for in an officer.
Wilson says he will provide interested candidates with information related to the OPP, the stages of recruitment and how to prepare.
He stresses there’s a huge need for new officers in the region as in the next couple of years they are looking at a minimum of 300 in each of those years.
