OPP Officer Injured In Thunder Bay

An Ontario Provincial Police officer is recovering from minor injuries after she was injured making a routine traffic stop in Thunder Bay.
Constable Diana Cole says it happened just before noon on Wednesday.
Police stopped a vehicle but the driver suddenly sped off and clipped the officer.
Cole says that the driver ran into the bush but was captured a short time later thanks to the canine unit.
OPP say 49-year-old Harold Maclaurin is in custody and he faces 11-charges.
