Seperate Bank Account Established For Museum

Dryden Council is moving ahead with the creation of a Museum Special Reserve Fund.
To date there has been no approved process to deal with funds raised or donated to the Museum.
Curator Leah Gardner says they need to build up reserves in order to attract exhibits, expand collections and conduct other work.
The Fund would be monitored by the City but all money raised will go to Museum projects.
The Museum has been concerned that money raised isn’t going directly into their coffers.
The fund won’t be used for general operating expenditures, wages and benefits.
Council has also agreed that the City should be in charge of all capital and accessibility issues at the Museum.
