Ontario Provincial Police are out with the Labour Day long weekend statistics.
Sergeant Shelley Garr says in Northwestern Ontario, they laid 10 distracted driving charges, 4 impaired driving charges, 257 speeding tickets and 24 seatbelt violations.
Province-wide, there were three fatalities with one of them being in Marathon.
Police say 63-year-old James Buckner of Ear Falls died after he lost control of his off-road vehicle.
