Regional Ontario Provincial Police Forces will be
monitoring area highways and roads for the next five
weeks, as part of the festive ride program.
Kenora Constable Karen Rustige says they started the
festive ride earl in Sioux Narrows, OPP checked many
drivers and found none were driving under the influence.

Rustige suggests planning ahead when attending various
Christmas parties, by calling a cab, staying at a friends,
or designating a driver.
