OPP Use Spike Belt to Stop Alberta Man

A 33-year-old Calgary man faces charges after a police chase on Highway 17 Wednesday night.
Kenora OPP attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding, however the driver refused to stop and made efforts to avoid police.
A spike belt was deployed just east of Kenora around 7 o’clock.
Police say Robert Reid was apprehended and transported to Hospital for treatment of a minor abrasion.
Reid has been charged with dangerous driving and remains in custody.
