While it may not be the best weekend for boating, the Ontario Provincial Police want folks to stay safe when they do.
Sergeant Shelley Garr says it’s important to know the rules and use common sense, such as wearing life jackets and making sure they have the proper safety equipment in their boats, including canoes.
Garr adds that it’s never a good idea to drink and operate a boat.
