OPSEU Deal

A tentative contract reached between the Provincial Government and the
Ontario Public Service Employees Union should end any talk of a strike.
The 4-year deal was reached over the weekend and includes a 9.75%
wage increase and addresses most of the contentious issues.
John O’Brien is the Regional Vice-President of OPSEU and says it
effects a number of workers in this area.

n024 runs: 14 sec. out…be doing.

Information meetings will be held this week and members are expected
to vote on the deal during a 3-day period next week.
