A Consultant hired to look at the non-emergency land ambulance patient transfer issue is out with his report.
It states the service must be provided in the Kenora District and several options are available.
Committee Chair for the Services Board Garry Parkes says they need to find some kind of common ground.
The report suggests finding another means to transfer patients, contracting a private business or increasing the number of staffed ambulances in the District.
Parkes says increased costs come with each option.
The Consultant added the Board can also maintain the current system.
The Committee has been asked to cost out each option and come up with a recommendation at the July KDSB meeting.
