Oral Language #2

The Oral Language program geared towards closing the gap

between Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal students is being expanded

into secondary school.

The Keewatin Patricia District School Board has had

great sucess with the pilot project.

Superintendent of Education Wendy Wiedenhoft hopes they

will see the same progress in high school students.

The program is already in Wabigoon, New Prospect, Red

Lake Madsen, Ear Falls, Keewatin, Lakewood, Sioux

Mountain, King George and Hudson Elementary schools.
