More restructuring in Sioux Lookout.
The Municipality has eliminated the Deputy Clerk and Community Development and Communications Manager positions.
The township has decided to create a new ‘Communications, Culture and Legislative Manager’ position.
The move will result in $85,000 in savings.
The responsibility of youth development and leasing will be transferred to the Parks and Recreation and Finance Departments, respectively.
The Municipality hopes to fill the new position within the next couple of weeks.
