A group is being formed to fill the void caused by the OSPCA’s decision to fold it’s operations in Dryden and Kenora.
“Rescue North” is planning to meet after Christmas to elect a board of directors, with representation from Dryden, Kenora and Fort Francs. The new board is expected to include members from the OPP, Treaty Three, Dryden Police, area doctors as well as concerned business people and other professionals. The OSPCA is planning to shut down its regional operation by the end of January.
