An Oxdrift man has been fined more than $260,000 after pleading guilty to 4-counts of tax evasion.
An investigation revealed Pierre Savage failed to report business income and shareholder benefits from 2001 to 2003.
Savage was arrested back in April and released on $25,000 bail.
In addition to the hefty fine, Savage has also been ordered to pay civil income tax assessments totaling $701,000 and $9,500 GST.
