Oxycodone Tablets Found in Vehicle

Police across Northwestern Ontario continue their crackdown on the trafficking of prescription drugs.
Early Tuesday morning, OPP stopped a vehicle on the Kenora By-Pass and seized almost $5,400 in Oxycodone pills.
Police say they were acting on a tip when they stopped the vehicle shortly after 3 o’clock.
3 people were inside the vehicle, but police have only laid charges against one person.
28-year-old Lindsay Copenace of Fort Frances has been charged with trafficking in a narcotic and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
OPP say the drugs were bound for distribution in Big Grassy and Fort Frances.
