PACE Selects Machin Project as Number #1

Restoring the Zamboni at the Woodlands Arena in Vermilion Bay is the Patricia Area Community Endeavours project of the year for 2008.
The project was selected from a list of 20-community economic development projects that were awarded funding.
PACE provided $5,000 towards the project.
Chair Richard Wetelainen says the project brought together area volunteers and municipal staff to rebuild a piece of equipment that is vital to user groups in the Machin area.
