Parking Fines on the Way Up

Its going to get more expensive to break some parking rules in Dryden.

In order to comply with Provincial law, the fine for parking in a disabled spot will rise from $50 to $300.

Fines for infractions in parking lots or fire lanes will rise from $16 or $10 within 48 hours to $25 or $20 by paying early.

A proposed by-law will be drafted for approval by the Provincial Crown’s Office.
