Parking Restrictions Coming on McMillan Ave.

New parking restrictions are coming soon for those in the McMillan Avenue area.
Dryden Council is expected to pass a resolution next Monday to ban parking on both sides of McMillan Avenue, north from Goodall Street to the fire hydrant.
The parking ban will be Monday to Friday from 8am until 5pm.
A survey was sent to 26-homeowners in the area and 17 of the 22-respondents said they were in favour of the move.
Residents were also asked if they were in favour of a no-parking notice on both sides of Goodall Street, however, only 6-of-11 homeowners responded and 4-said they supported the ban.
Some on Council feel that although a bylaw won’t be coming forward this year, they predict the issue will be raised again in the New Year.
