Parking Restrictions Planned for Goodall

The Dryden Traffic Committee is recommending parking restrictions on the North side of Goodall Street.
If accepted next Monday, parking would be banned from 8-am to 5-pm, Monday to Friday from Van Horne to MacMillan.
Committee member Debra Kincaid says they did look at a permit system, but determined enforcement and registration were two problematic issues.
Council was receptive to the move at last night’s meeting, with one councilor even suggesting extending the restriction to 8-pm.
The move is aimed at easing congestion in the area.
