There will be no Tackleberry, Hightower or Commandant Lassard at this Police Academy but Dryden residents will learn the in’s and out’s of the Dryden Police Service.
Applications for the 7-week Citizen Police Academy are being accepted until Friday.
Community Service Officer Kevin Hildebrand says the free program is entering its second year.
Hildebrand says it was well received last year and he’s hoping to grow the program.
He says the goal of the program is creating a better understanding and partnership between citizens and officers.
Hildebrand says the class size will be limited to 12-students.
The interactive classes are held every Wednesday evening and the program is free of charge.
To register visit the Dryden Police Service or call 223-3281.
Application forms are also available at www.drydenpoliceservice.com
