People wanting to apply for a new passport won’t have to
travel ouside of the community anymore.
Passport Canada says it has launched a pilot project
where the human resources, skills development office in
Kenora will act as a recieving agent.
Lynn Burnette is a spokespersonfor passport canada and
says the pilot project has worked well in other communities
and hopes it will become a permanent service.

Burnette says this is one of just two passport pilot
projects in Northern Ontario. The other is in Timmins.
