CEP Local 324 remains off the the job at Patricia Gardens in Dryden.
A weekend negotiating session failed to resolve things in the strike
which has been dragging on since last August.
Management has decided to begin implementing a “lifeline” system
which will allow residents of the facility immediate access to an operator
who would then dispatch the necessary emergency personel.
Once fully installed, there will be lifeline buttons throughout the
building.
No new talks are being planned at this time.
