Patrick Brown Makes A Political Comeback

No keeping this disgraced politician down.

Patrick Brown, the former Conservative leader of Ontario, is now the new mayor of Brampton.

Brown was ousted as the Conservative leader back in January, but completed his comeback to public life by beating incumbent mayor Linda Jeffrey, taking 44 percent of the vote.

Jeffrey is a former Minister of Natural Resources in the Wynne government.

Brown initially set his sights on the chair of Peel Region, before Premier Doug Ford eliminated that position in his wide-ranging municipal overhaul of the Greater Toronto Area.

Brown was turfed from the party after a couple of women came forward with sexual assault allegations against the former PC leader.
