Three Wins For DHS In Kenora

The Dryden Eagles court teams are starting to gain some momentum with the High School Playoffs just around the corner.

The Blue and Gold posted three wins in Kenora Tuesday against Beaver Brae.

In was a sweep in Girls Basketball, with the Seniors cruising to a 56-35 victory over the Broncos.

Brynn Montgomery led the Eagles with 13-points, while Maddie MacDonald added 11.

On the Juniors side, Julia Jones poured in 21-points and Dryden outlasted Beaver Brae 45-44.

In Boys Volleyball, the Junior Eagles won in straight sets.(25-12, 25-18, 25-21)

The Seniors weren’t as fortunate, dropping a four set decision against the Broncos. (25-19, 25-13,19-25, 25-22)

Dryden returns home to face Fort Frances on Thursday.
