PC Candidate Christine Elliott Stops In Northwestern Ontario

Christine Elliott will get action moving on the Ring of Fire, contrary to the lip service she accuses the Liberals of.

The Progressive Conservative leadership candidate was in Thunder Bay Thursday in a bid to gain support.

Elliott says she wants Indigenous leaders, developers and municipalities at the table.

She notes it’s a $60-billion project, creating 5,500 jobs, and $2-billion annually for government revenues.

Elliott stresses the province needs to get everyone together to start building the roads.

Elliott also turned her attention on a federal plan to impose a carbon tax.

She says we can’t sit by and let Justin Trudeau tell Ontario what to do.

Elliott stresses the government should fight back.

She says if elected, she will push for an audit of all Liberal programs.

Elliott says if the programs don’t provide value for taxpayers, they should be discontinued.

She adds the government has become completely unaccountable.
