PC Executive Doesn’t Believe Gender Identity Resolution Will Fly

A regional member of the Ontario PC executive doesn’t believe a party resolution removing gender identity from the school curriculum has any legs.

The resolution was approved at a recent party member convention.

Thunder Bay’s Derek Parks says a number of cabinet ministers and even the Premier have already voiced their opposition and he expects the proposal to be shot down at the next PC Annual General Meeting.

Parks says this conversation has been going on for decades and its always been defeated in the end.

He is confident it won’t become government policy and “common sense will prevail”.
