PC Leader Calls For Resignation Of Attorney General

The opposition at Queen’s Park is calling for the resignation of the Attorney General.

Progressive Conservative Leader Patrick Brown spoke of a man sent to jail for 18 months and three months probation for child luring in 2013, and two years later he was caught doing it again.

Brown says not once did any probation officer check in with this person.

He says even probation officers are saying there is a major risk to community safety.

Premier Kathleen Wynne says she won’t fire the Attorney General, adding the government has made Ontario a very safe place to live, and that her government has hired a number of new officers.
