Patrick Brown has been cleared to seek the leadership of the Progressive Conservative party, the position he vacated last month due to sexual misconduct allegations.
But he’s now facing allegations of financial irregularities.
Fellow PC MPP Randy Hillier is asking Ontario’s Integrity Commissioner to investigate.
Hillier alleges Brown failed to report income and gifts of international travel.
Earlier this week, Hillier issued a statement on Twitter saying Brown was unfit to be party leader and Premier.
