An 80 year old Dryden woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle last Thursday.
Dryden Police Service says the elderly woman was on a crosswalk at the corner of Duke and Van Horne when she was struck by a mini van. The victim was pronounced dead at Dryden Hospital.
The drive of the mini van, 69 year old Norma Boyd, has been charged with failing to yield.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
